One More Nomination

When I was nominating blogs I completely forgot about one I want to nominate. As you know, I nominated Ethan for Best Student Blog and Mrs. Yollis' Classroom Blog for Best Class Blog. Now, I am going to nominate a blog for Best New Blog.

For Best New Blog I would like to nominate my friend Mark's blog, GBM Corner. Mark does amazing reviews! He review's books, games, movies, and blogs. I wrote a whole review on his blog in my post: Review: GBM Corner. The most amazing part is he has only had his blog for 6 days!

Who did you nominate?

Poll Competition: Poll 4 Round 1

In the last poll it was a tie. The tie was between I'm a Black Belt and 1,000 visitors. That was the first tie in this poll competition! I added something new on my blog! At the top of my blog is my pages. I added a new page called Poll Competitions. You can find the winner of the last post there before I say it in a post! These posts are a little more recent. This is going to be a close poll.

Edublog Award Nominations

This week the Student Blogging Challenge asked us to nominate a student and class blog for the Edublog Awards. I knew which class blog to nominate right away, but it took a while to figure out who to nominate for best student blog.

I've decided to nominate Mrs. Yollis' Classroom Blog for best class blog. I chose her blog because she posts about such amazing things. For example, over the summer she posted about her trip to Hawaii. It was very interesting to watch the videos she took!

For best student blog I nominate Ethan (Gamekid). He does amazing posts about his life, the world, and different blogs. Also, he always does magnificent posts about the Student Blogging Challenge. In my opinion, he should be the one to win best student blog.

Poll Competition 2: Poll 3 Round 1

In the first poll the winner was Welcome. The last poll's winner is Disney Wonder. They will both go to the championship! This poll is a special one. It will have 7 posts instead of 6! Two or three will have 7 posts, so I decided to make one of them this one! These are great posts!

Here is the poll:

Which one did you vote for?

Which is your second favorite?

Favorites: Sports

Yesterday I wrote about my favorite books. Today I'm going to be writing about my favorite thing to do, playing sports! I am going to be writing about my top three favorite sports. We play them in the U.S.A, but you might play them in your country! Now, let's get to my favorite sports. I'm going to start at three and go to one this time!

A tennis ball!

3. My third favorite sport is called tennis. In tennis you hit the ball to the other side of the court. It needs to go over the net to be on the other side. If it bounces two or more times on their side, you get a point. In the last school year, my sister started taking tennis lessons. At first I thought it was boring, but then I tried it and really liked it. I took lessons until the end of the school year and started playing with my family in our community about once a month.

A New York Giants football!

2. My second favorite sport is called football. In most countries, football is when you kick a ball with your feet into a goal. That is called soccer for us. In football you try to pass or run the ball into the endzone. If you get it into the endzone it is a touchdown which is worth 6 points. You need to kick the ball between the two posts to get the seventh point. If you make a field goal it is worth 3 points. I played flag football last year. My parents didn't want me to play anymore because I got hit in the stomach a lot. Also, my tooth went into someone on my team's head. (But my tooth just got wigglier. It didn't fall out!)

A basketball!

1. My favorite sport is called basketball. In basketball the goal is to dribble up the court and score. If you are inside the three-point line it is worth two points. If you are behind it is worth three points. A free-throw is worth one point. The team with the most points wins. I started playing when I was five. I didn't get a single point all season! I didn't play again until I was seven. My next season I got six points. At least it is better then no points. In my third season, I got 8 points in my first game. I averaged 10 rebounds per game. In my most recent season, I did amazing. In one game I got 16 points and 17 rebounds. In my last game I got 16 points and about 11 rebounds. Those are called double-doubles. I got two in one season! That was an amazing season!

What are your three favorite sports in order? How do you play them?

Have you played any of these sports? Which ones?

Favorites: Books

I've read many books, but I am going to write my top five favorites and what they are about. I hope you read these books after hearing about them.

1. My favorite book is called Scary School. I'm not going to write what it is about because you can find a review about it on my post: Book Signing: Scary School (Book Review Included)

2. My second favorite book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever. Once again, I'm not going to write what it is about because you can find a review about it on my post: Review: GBM Corner.

3. My third favorite book is called Monster Blood for Breakfast. It is about a boy who eats something called Monster Blood. He grows too big and strong, and gets a record in a swim meet. He's scared being too big and strong will stay forever. Luckily, he changes back to normal after 12 hours.

4. My fourth favorite book is Beware, the Snowman. It is about a girl who moves to a new town. There is a snowman who lives at the top of the hill who they are scared of. She escapes it and finds out that her long-lost sorcerer father made snowmen come to life and kill the evil snowman at the top of the hill.

5. My fifth favorite book is called Creep from the Deep. It is about two siblings who find a sunken ship, but get sent to another dimension with evil skeleton pirates. Eventually, they give the pirate back his leg, get back their uncle, and get back to the regular dimension.

Have you read any of these books? Which ones?

What are your five favorite books? What are they about?

Poll Competition 2: Poll 2 Round 1

The winner of the last poll was the Welcome post. In second place was 97th Rose Bowl: My 1st Rose Bowl. There were only three votes, so I hope to get more this time. These posts are some of my favorites!

Review: GBM Corner

My friend Mark recently started a blog with reviews called GBM Corner. I'm guessing you're wondering what GBM stands for. G stands for video games. B stands for books. M stands for movies. They stand for video games, books, and movies because that's what he reviews. I think his blog is amazing. So far, he has only reviewed books.

The books he's reviewed are Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever, Encyclopedia Brown: The Case of Pablo's Nose, and Big Nate on a Roll. I've read Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever and Encyclopedia Brown: The Case of Pablo's Nose. He rates the books with letters. He rated Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever an A-. I would rate it an A. He rated Encyclopedia Brown: The Case of Pablo's Nose an A-. I would rate it a C+. You should go on his blog A.S.A.P.

Here is a book review I wrote for Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever:

The book Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever is the sixth book in the Diary of a Wimpy kid series. Some of the book is about how he wanted to have a holiday bazaar. The newspaper would charge him one thousand dollars for the full page color ad he wanted. Greg (the main character) decides to call his friend Rowley to make their own newspaper. Then, they vandalize the school by putting posters on the walls. Greg goes to the principal's office and has to clean up marks the posters left.

Next, he had to survive being snowed in with his family. First, Manny plays on Greg's favorite game and changes his password. Next, he couldn't watch TV because Manny changed the parental lock. Later he couldn't play video games because his mom loved her new exercise video game. Finally, the snow stopped and the police came. He thought it was for him, but it was for last minute toys for the toy drive.

Have you read GBM Corner?

Have you read any of these books?

What would you rate them?

Student Blogging Challenge: Game

This week there is a game for the Student Blogging Challenge. To play you go to a student blog, go to a blog on their blogroll, then go to a blog on their blogroll and leave a comment. After you do that 3 times you write a post about what blogs you visited and what you commented on.

First, I went to Ethan's blog. Then, I went to Sam's blog. After that, I finally reached Josh's blog. I wrote a comment about his avatar. It said how I thought it was awesome and how I can really relate to it. I highly recommend visiting his blog.

Next, I went to Miriam's blog. From there I went to Hannah's blog. Finally, I reached BB's blog. I commented on her blog about books I can't put down. I told her how I couldn't put down Scary School and put a review about it.

Finally, I went to Daniel's blog. From his, I went to Teegan's blog. Last, I got to Joseph's blog. I commented about his cousin's prank. Also, I told him the closest thing to a prank I've ever done. You will have to read his blog to find out what it was!

(Click on any blog owner's name, and it will bring you to their blog!)

Do you have an avatar?

Book Signing: Scary School (Book Review Included)

This October, I went to my local Barnes and Noble for a book signing, reading, and costume contest.

Me and the Author

First, there were only two kids including me. The author, Derek the Ghost, did a choose your own adventure story. Both of us survived one day at scary school! That is very hard! Next, about 5 more kids came. He read a very scary chapter called, Dr. Dragonbreath's rules. Then, he took some questions. I asked a few. There is a secret chapter in the first book, so I asked him, " Is there going to be a secret chapter in the next book?". He said there are going to be a few in the next book. After that, he signed our copies of Scary School. Here is what he wrote to me:

Next, there was a costume contest. If you go to the top of this post you can see my costume. The only other person who competed didn't know about the costume contest, but he was in his basketball uniform. I won because of my helmet! Each of us got a handful of candy. Also, I got a free book because I won!

The book I won

He gave everyone a T-shirt.

My handful of candy. (I already ate two) Mmm...

My new book signed

Here is a book review I wrote:

The book Scary School is about the first school ever that combines regular kids and monster kids. It is told by the point of view of Derek the Ghost. He is an amazing author! The story is mostly about the fifth grade classes. The two fifth grade teachers are Ms. Fang, an 850 year old vampire, and Dr. Dragonbreath, who ate 28 of his 30 students in the first 12 minutes of school. Being dead is no excuse for being dead at Scary School because they have the best Nurse ever, Nurse Hairymoles. She can bring anyone back to life, but she makes it so they are very badly sick the next day. You do not want to go to detention because you have to spend it with Mrs T, who is a hungry T-Rex who might eat you before recess. I think you should get and read this book A.S.A.P.

Poll Competition Two

The second poll competition is starting. It will last a few months. There will probably be five polls in the first round. As of now, four of the polls in the first round will have six posts to choose from, and one poll will have seven posts to choose from. The winning post in each poll will go to the championship. If there is a tie, both winning posts will go to the championship. Here is the first poll:

Student Blogging Challenge: Challenge 6: Freerice

This week's main idea is global issues. When I started third grade I started playing Freerice. I forgot my account, so I made a new one. If you want to be friends, I am Bigjman9. You can play in groups. I am in the group Student Blogging Challenge.

You answer questions about things like math and grammar. For each answer you get correct, you donate 10 grains of rice to homeless people to try to end hunger. The best part is, it's free! You move up levels. The higher the level, the harder the question. My best category in the Freerice game is English grammar. I hope people join because of reading my post! Freerice is a great way to try to end hunger!

Santa Anita

A couple weeks ago, I went to the horse races at Santa Anita. Some people say it is the most beautiful race track in the U.S.A. I get why they say that now because it had lots of mountains and trees around it. I went with my dad and my sister. It was a special day there because kids got in for free and there were over seventy food trucks.

We stayed for 6 races. I was very surprised in the last race because the favorite to win, Blind Luck, got last place. Before one of the races, I asked my dad, "Why does an ambulance Circle the track?", and he said,  " In case a horse gets hurt.". That race, a horse got hurt!

In the last race my dad took some pictures. Here is one of them:

This is a horse named Zazu:

Blogs I Recommend

I got the idea of writing a post about blogs I recommend from my new blogging buddy, Ethan.

The first blog I recommend is Mrs. Yollis' Classroom Blog.

I like how she does interesting, but educational posts. Also, I like seeing what her class is learning that I learned last year as a student in her class.

Next, I would like to recommend Ben's Next Stop.

I like looking at where he has been going. I also like seeing the places he went to that I've been before and have never visited before.

She publishes about her family events, and things that are open to the public. I like that combination of posts!

The next blog I recommend is Ethan's Blog!

His posts are very interesting and he makes them very fun to read. I hope you leave him a comment!

I hope you go on Hannah's Hacienda.

She does posts about trips that her family goes on, and about right here in our hometown.

(Tip: Each blog's name is a link. If you click on it, it will bring you to that blog!)

I hope that you look at each one of these blogs. Maybe you will leave a comment on their blog! I'm sure they would love that.

Did you check out these blogs?

Which ones?

What blog should I go on next?

Student Blogging Challenge: Challenge 2

Disneyland Park Logo.svg
DisneylandCastle.JPG
I joined the Student Blogging Challenge. The Student Blogging Challenge is a great way to meet other bloggers. I did it last year when I was in Mrs. Yollis' class. There are different challenges every week. You choose from around ten different challenges. Also, you can choose as many to do as you want.

This week's challenges focus on the place you live. I'm going to tell about a tourist attraction in California.

A place where you would want to visit if you went to California is Disneyland. Disneyland officially opened on July 18, 1955. There was an event the day before. It was supposed to be invitation only, but because of counterfeit tickets, instead of 11,000 people there was 28,154 people! I've been there many times because my dad works for Disney.

Disneyland is located in Anaheim, California. In 2001, they added California Adventure. That has rides like Monsters Inc. and Toy Story Mania. A couple years ago they added a show called the World of Color. It is where water squirts up and creates pictures from Disney and Pixar movies. That is my favorite show.

If you would like to learn more about Disneyland, follow this link: Wikipedia

Have you ever gone to Disneyland?

If so, what did you do and what was your favorite part?

Champion: Lakers vs. Warriors

A few months ago there was a poll competition. You had ten days to vote for the winner, and the results are in. Remember, all four of these are winners because each of them either won a poll or tied a poll, but only one can become champion. I hope you are happy with who you voted for!

In a three way tie for second place, 20% of the poll, and 3 votes: Mr. CA plays basketball, Disney Wonder, and New House and New School!

And the winner is, Lakers vs. Warriors. Lakers vs. Warriors had 6 votes and 40% of the poll. I think the reason besides it being a great post that made it win was that most people who know about my blog live in L.A, so they like the Lakers.

Personally, I liked Disney Wonder because it was very fun just to relax for 10 days in a row. No one else can say that though unless you were on it with me. I also liked it because Mr. CA was in it.

There will be another poll competition starting any time from November, 2011-January, 2012. I hope you enjoyed this poll competition and will join in on the next one!

What is it like in the desert?

Last spring break, I got to see what life is like in the desert. A lot of people think that there are many cactus in the desert, but I was there for two days, and I only saw about fifty cactus. At the bottom you will be able to see a picture of a very pretty cactus.

The desert that I went to is called Palm Springs. I went there to visit my grandparents while my parents went to a hotel. The place where my grandparents live is very interesting because to live there you need to be a senior citizen. Right when I got there, we saw my grandma and grandpa's rental house because they have only lived there for a few months, and they moved into their house on a Tuesday, but I left at about noon on a Monday. Then, we saw their new house. Next, we went went swimming. We had to leave a little bit before three because kids where only allowed to be in the community pool until three. After going swimming, we went to the movies. We saw Kung Fu Panda 2. Then, we went to have ice cream for dinner. I had cookies and cream ice cream. Next, I went to bed.

The next day, we went to McDonalds for breakfast. I had a McGriddle with bacon, egg, cheese and the bread was French toast with syrup made inside of it. Next, we went to a place where you can buy things and there are a lot of vendors set up. It is called a flee market. Sadly, they closed right when we got there. Then, we went to the dollar store. I got a box of 48 crayons, 200 index cards, 36 fake coins, 10 tootsie roll pops, and something else. After the dollar store, we went swimming. Next, we went putting on a golf course. It was very fun and my first time putting in my life, I think. Then, we went to dinner at Stuffed Pizza. The pasta was very good. After Stuffed Pizza, we went back to the putting course. I started a game with my sister, but she went back to my grandma, away from the golf course after the seventh hole. Then, I went to sleep.

On my final day, we went out for breakfast. My sister and I each ordered chocolate chip pancakes with Ice Cream. Next, we went golfing. It was a putting course, and not a real golfing course. Each hole was Par 3. That means that if you get three it does not affect your score, if you get two you get -1, and if you get four you get +1. I beat my sister +31 to +82. Sadly, we had to leave after that. I hope that we go back to the desert soon.

Here is a picture of a cactus I saw in Palm Springs:

Have you ever been to a desert? Which one?
Have you ever played golf? What was your score?

1,000 Visitors!

On June 18, 2011, I got to 1,000 visitors on my blog! It is amazing because I have had visitors from all  around the world. For example, I have blogging friends from right here in my hometown all the way to Australia! When I got up, and looked at my clustr maps gadget I had to refresh the page to believe what I was seeing.

It is crazy that this is my 22nd post! I remember when I got 50 comments on my welcome post! That was amazing! My point is that if you try hard you will succeed (like me getting 1,000 visitors). I hope that everyone who has read this post learned a lesson from it.

Do you have over 1,000 visitors on your blog?

If so, what is the exact number of visitors?

Amazing! 200 comments!

On Wednesday, June 1, I got to 200 comments on my blog because of my comment! Me and my dad were commenting, and after each of us left two comments on my blog in about fifteen minutes I was at 200. I think there have been over fifty people who have ever commented on my blog. Thanks to all of you. I couldn't of done it without you!
I couldn't figure out how to take a screen shot on my computer, so here is my comment rewritten:
@ Dad,
I think you should get a blog mascot for your blog. Also, I do not even remember who the Greggalopes are, so how would I remember where we saw them play? Who were they? Where did we see them play?
From,
Jaden

Apparently, a Greggalope is an animal that my parents made up when we were at Animal Kingdom, Disney World, Florida, U.S.A. They did not know what an animal that looks like an antelope was called when I asked, so they called it a Greggalope.
Do you like my comment?
How do you like my blog?
Did you know what Greggalopes were before this post?

NBA Polls

Since summer is starting, and the Mavericks won the NBA Finals, I thought I would see who you like in three different categories. The first category is your favorite current NBA player. Next, is your favorite all-time NBA player. Last, is your favorite NBA team.

Here is the poll about your favorite current player:

Next, the favorite all-time player:

Last, but not least, favorite NBA team:

Did you watch the NBA Finals?

Clustr Maps

I think I should teach about something that is located on my sidebar. My sidebar is located on the right of my blog. It is filled with interesting gadgets. One of the many gadgets is Clustr Maps. On Clustr Maps you can find very useful things. One of the things you can find is what countries have visited your blog. The following countries are the ones that have visited my blog: United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Russian Federation, United Kingdom, India, Indonesia, France, Malaysia, Ireland, Chile, Germany, Poland, Singapore, Kenya, Brunei Darussalam, Slovinia, Czech Republic, Taiwan, Argentina and Thailand. If the same computer checks in two times in twenty-four hours, it only counts as one visitor. On Clustr Maps, they use dots to keep track of visitors. The smallest red dot means that you have one to nine visits in that place. The biggest red dot means that you have 1,000+ visitors in that spot. If a place has a yellow dot then it means that the visit you are looking at is recent. In my opinion, every blog should have Clustr Maps.
Do you have Clustr Maps?
After reading this post, are you going to get Clustr Maps?

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Yollis!

Tomorrow is June 11, 2011. That is Mrs. Yollis' birthday! This is not just like any regular post or birthday. It is a happy birthday post and it is an extraordinary teacher's birthday. Mrs. Yollis, I remember that my friend Dylan and his mom were telling me how you were an amazing teacher. They were definitely right! In fact, I think that if I made a poll right now if they were right or wrong there would be one-hundred votes and 100% of them would be right.

I wish I could be at school today to celebrate it with you. Sadly, I am sick. I hope that you have a great birthday!

Here is what my mom has to say:
Mrs. Yollis, Happy Birthday! We hope you have a fabulous birthday. We are so fortunate to have had you for a teacher. You are a beautiful person inside and out and an extraordinary teacher. Enjoy your special day!

I'm a Black Belt!

Today I am going to be telling you about my black belt test which happened on June 4, 2011. I stopped going to a karate place that I had went to for four years, and went to a new karate/MMA place that my favorite sensei opened up. His name is Sensei Trever. Since a lot of students followed Sensei Trever to his new  MMA place, and were really close to getting a black belt in Shotokan karate at our previous karate place, he trained us for about five months, and we tested for our Shotokan black belts. Sensei Trever put together an amazing panel.
The panel was: Dave Hebler (10th Degree Black Belt in American Kenpo Karate and Elvis Presley's bodyguard), Shaun Hester (3rd Degree Black Belt in American Kenpo Karate), Peter Cunningham (7 Time World Champion Kickboxer and Movie Star), Leandor Manabe (3rd Degree Black Belt in Chou Lay Fut Kung Fu), James Gavsie (2nd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and my sensei's business partner), Fred Mergen (4th Degree Black Belt in American Kenpo Karate), Eric Valente (2nd Degree Black Belt in American Kenpo Karate), Steve Holden (5th Degree Black Belt in Shotokan Karate and my sensei's teacher), and last, and best, Trever Sherman (5th Degree Black Belt in American Kenpo Karate and my trainer).
I tested with my friends Brandon, Alyssa, Maya, Diego, Harlow, Tabitha, Jennifer, Natalie, Ian, and Juliette. Before the test, Steve Holden was setting up where the panel was going to sit. He brought out a big dummy that probably weighs as much as me. Then, he threw it at me. I caught it, but it knocked me over. About twenty minutes later, he was walking around and said "you know what I like to do before a test?". Then, he took my friend Brandon down. A few minutes later, he did it again.
The test was great! We did Punches, Kicks, Katas, Sparring, and Self Defense Moves. I got a huge certificate, a signed picture of Elvis Presley and his bodyguard doing karate, a signed picture of Peter Cunningham and Christian Bale from the movie, The Fighter, and of course, my black belt.
Thank you to everyone on the panel, my parents, the rest of my family, and mostly Sensei Trever! I couldn't of done it without you!

Pride Meme

Challenge #8 for student blogging challenge has a fun little game in it. It was a little game of tag. Here is how you play: First, you get tagged by a blog. Next, you write a post on your blog about what makes you glow with pride. Finally, at the end of your post you tag other blogs. I got tagged by Mrs. Yollis' classroom blog!
What Makes Me Glow With Pride?
There are many things in my life that make me glow with pride, but if I had to pick one, I would pick basketball. In my first season, I scored 0 points. I hate to admit it, but after the last game I was sitting on the floor of the court and crying. My friend Tucker came over and was a great friend by checking to see if I was okay. In my second season (about a year and a half later), I scored 6 points in the season! That made me feel really good because of my devastating first season. In my third and most recent season, I scored 8 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in my first game! That was more than my first two seasons combined! In that season I averaged about 4 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals per game in the ten games I played that season. That third season was amazing! Sadly, my team (the Lakers) lost in the first round of the play-offs to the Magic. My next season starts at the end of next month and I will probably be one of the oldest kids in the league!
I would like to tag Brothers' blog and Grace on the Go.

Top Six (Fan Picked)

This is the thirteenth post on Jaden's Awesome Blog. That is a bakers dozen! I looked on my sidebar and found the five most popular posts on my blog and added one. In a few weeks I will put up the other six posts. After a month of seeing this post you will find the championship! I got the idea of doing this kind of poll from Miriam's Magical Moments. Here is the poll!

Disney Wonder

From April 17 to April 27, I went on a Disney cruise. It was the only ten day cruise I have ever been on out of the five cruises I've been on. Of course, I brought Mr. CA, who you might remember from my previous two posts. I went on the Disney Wonder. The other two Disney cruise line ships are the Magic and the Dream.

On the cruise, I went with my dad, my mom, my sister, my friend, my sister's friend, their mom, and their dad. The ship went to Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo, and Cabo San Lucas. My family and I only got off the ship in Cabo San Lucas. I got a Mexican soccer jersey. My sister and my mom got off the ship for one day. My dad and I got off the ship for both of the days that we were in Cabo San Lucas.

My favorite places to go on the cruise were to the Oceanear Lab (a part of the kid's club), the Walt Disney theater, the Buena Vista movie theater, the Goofy pool, and our stateroom. On one of the last days of the cruise, there was pin trading. Pin trading is where you can buy Disney pins and then trade them. First, I had a double of a Mickey pin. Then, I traded it for a Stitch pin. In the middle, I traded for lots of pins including a Mickey steamboat one and a dinousaur one. Finally, I ended up with a Mexican Mickey ears pin.

Here is a picture of Mr. CA on the cruise ship:

Mr. California plays basketball

"And the first pick in the CBBL (Chipmunk Basketball League) is... Mr. California!" Larry Chipmunk yelled. "This is such an honor! I've always dreamed of being the first pick in the CBBL. It was just an honor to go to Chipconsin for college!" Exclaimed Mr. CA. "Mr. Ca was the first pick in the CBBL draft yesterday" stated the Chippaper. "It is very exciting for me to have my blog mascot picked first in the CBBL draft! It will lead to amazing posts on my blog!" I exclaimed.

The tip off... the Chippers win the tip off. "I think the Chippers will win because of their sensational rookie Mr. CA." stated Magic Johnson. The Chippers are beating the Chippets 30-27 after the first quarter! Three seconds left in the third quarter. Three! Two! One! Mr. CA throws it up. It is good. Chippers 79, Chippets 78. Five seconds remaining in the game. Timeout Chippers! The Chippets are winning 103-100. Five! Four! Three! Two! Mr. CA shoots the three. And one! Mr. CA makes the free throw with one second left giving the Chippers the lead by one! Ms. Oregon shoots! She misses! The Chippers win 104-103! One of the greatest CBBL finals is over.

Here are the season awards:

CBBL team: Mr. CA, Mr. NY, Ms. Oregon, Mr. Arizona, Chip!

MVP: Mr. CA

Mr. CA

Hi! My name is Mr. California. My friend Jaden decided to pick me as his blog mascot. It is an honor to be writing a post on Jaden's Awesome Blog! Hopefully I will be able to post a lot on this blog. My hobbies are playing basketball, soccer, baseball, hockey, and tennis. I also like drawing, reading and blogging. Most of all, I enjoy being the new mascot for Jaden's Awesome Blog. I am a chipmunk. My tail is black and brown and my body is white, black, and brown. My friends are Mr. NY from Brothers' Blog, Leo from 2KM and 2KJ, Bunny from Grace on the Go, Juan Pablo from Mr. Salsich's class, Snowflake from BB's Awesome Blog, and Panda from Mrs. Yollis' class. I hope we get a lot of quality comments from them!

Clippers vs. Mavericks

Last Wednesday, I went to a basketball game. The Los Angeles Clippers played against the Dallas Mavericks. When the first quarter ended the Clippers were winning 28-23. After the first half the Mavericks were winning 48-46. The Mavericks were winning 75-70 after the third quarter. The final score was Mavericks 106, Clippers 100. How many points did each team score in the third quarter? J.J Barea from the Mavericks scored 22 points, grabbed 2 rebounds, had 6 assists, and took away 2 steals. Blake Griffin from the Clippers scored 25 points, grabbed 17 rebounds, got 3 assists, and took away 3 steals.
Here is a picture of me at the Clippers game:
